Massage - Thai (RMT)
***These sessions are performed by a registered massage therapist (RMT) and is covered under RMT services in private insurance plans. If you wish to see a Holistic Practitioner instead at a reduced rate, please check out our Holistic Practitioner services.***
Thai massage is a healing tradition that originated in India over 2,500 years ago. Unlike other massage styles that typically use long, flowing strokes and kneading, Thai massage employs stretching, pulling, and rocking techniques to relieve tension, enhance flexibility, and stimulate the flow of energy throughout the body.
Thai massage includes rhythmic compression along the body‘s energy lines, known as "sen" in Thai, combined with deep, yoga-like stretches while the practitioner uses their hands, feet, elbows, and knees to move the client into various yoga-like positions. This form of passive stretching can increase flexibility, relieve joint and muscle tension, and balance the body's energy systems.
The massage is performed on a padded mat on the floor with the client fully clothed in a loose-fitting top and pants provided by the therapist. No oils or lotions are used throughout the session and a Traditional Thai Massage typically takes two hours to complete (however we do offer shorter sessions). It's a perfect blend of massage and stretching, often nicknamed "Yoga for lazy people" as the therapist does all the movements for you.
Massage - Cupping (RMT)
** Performed by a registered massage therapist (RMT) and can be billed under massage therapy services to your insurance provider **
Cupping massage is a type of therapeutic treatment that has its roots in ancient Chinese medicine. The practice involves placing either silicone or plastic cups on the skin, usually on the back, and creating a vacuum seal, which results in suction. This draws up the underlying tissues, promoting blood flow and helping to relieve muscle tension. The cups may be placed statically in once place or dynamically moved across the target area.
Cupping is a great way to supplement a massage. It's considered beneficial for reducing pain, inflammation, boosting blood circulation, promoting relaxation, and well-being. It can also serve as a type of deep-tissue massage. Red cupping marks may be left on the treated area for up to a few weeks later but rest assure, the marks aren't painful. In addition to cupping, Swedish massage techniques are applied during the session.
Acupuncture - Clinical
**Includes fire cupping**
Acupuncture is a technique founded on the principles of traditional Eastern medicine, which involves the strategic placement of ultra-fine needles at certain points on the body. It is an effective solution for managing various conditions such as pain, fertility issues, pregnancy, stress, anxiety, depression, weight loss, smoking cessation, neurological symptoms, and to promote overall wellness.
The initial session includes a brief assessment (approx. 10-15 min) to fully understand your needs following up with a treatment that incorporates massage, fire cupping and needling techniques. Every treatment plan is individualized and based on your comfort level and goals. If you are curious but scared to try acupuncture this is a good intro session as therapists can start with just a few tiny needles and limit the needling time until you feel comfortable.
This service is performed by a Registered Acupuncturist.
Acupuncture - Cosmetic
Cosmetic acupuncture serves as a natural method for facial rejuvenation. By enhancing blood circulation and oxygen flow to the skin tissues, it invigorates the fibroblasts, encouraging them to increase collagen and elastin production. The result is a thicker, plumper skin with enhanced integrity.
Benefits are the following:
-Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles for a youthful appearance.
-Renders a natural glow, promoting a more youthful-looking skin.
-Effectively improves hyperpigmentation, resulting in brighter skin tone.
-Promotes relaxation of the facial muscles, thus preventing skin atrophy and sagging.
-It enhances the toned appearance of your cheeks, jaw, and neck through skin tightening.
-It promotes lymphatic drainage in the face, effectively minimizing facial edema.
-It aids in reducing redness and inflammation in the skin, boosting overall skin health
-Contributes to skin firmness, fostering a more toned, youthful appearance.
The initial session starts with a short evaluation of your needs followed by a customized treatment that incorporates guasha, facial cups, massage and needling techniques. Every treatment plan is carefully crafted on an individual basis depending on comfort level and goals.
Precautionary Measures:
-It is advised to wait for a period of 6-8 weeks after undergoing Botox injections or facial surgery before starting cosmetic acupuncture treatments.
-If you are suffering from conjunctivitis (commonly known as pink eye) or have any open sores on your face, you should wait until you have completely recovered before proceeding with treatments.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a unique and systematic type of therapy designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and strength. 'Fascia' refers to the connective tissue that encases muscles, organs, nerves, and blood vessels in your body. Over time, fascia can become stiff or scarred due to injuries, poor posture, or inadequate training methods.
FST aims to enhance the elasticity and health of the fascia, leading to improved athletic performance, increased range of motion, reduced pain, and enhanced recovery from workouts. The therapy is performed by a certified FST therapist or trained RMT who manually stretches the patient’s body in undulating and spiral patterns, synchronizing their movements with the patient's breath.
Instead of targeting isolated muscles, FST considers the body as a connected system, stretching entire fascial lines or chains to promote flexibility throughout the body. The therapy is performed on a treatment table, equipped with comfortable straps to stabilize the limbs or body parts not being worked on.
FST is gentle, pain-free, and relaxing. It's beneficial for everyone from athletes seeking peak performance to older adults looking for enhanced mobility and pain relief. It provides an effective complement to other therapeutic modalities and can play a crucial role in comprehensive treatment and wellness plans.

Thai foot reflexology is a therapeutic massage that involves kneading, rubbing, and applying pressure to the muscles and soft tissues of the feet, ankles and calves. Pressure is applied to specific points on the feet, which are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body. These points help promote relaxation, improve circulation, enhance overall health and alleviate foot pain. Many people enjoy foot massages for their relaxing effects, and they can be especially beneficial after long periods of standing or physical activity.

This therapeutic session is the perfect blend of two powerful techniques: Swedish massage and contemporary acupuncture. The carefully crafted combination is performed by our dually trained RMT providing a unique healing and relaxation experience.
It starts off with the Swedish massage, known for its effectiveness in releasing muscular tension and stimulating the body's lymphatic system. This technique doesn't just help the body rejuvenate, it awakens your inner sense of wellbeing as well.

7. Achilles tendonitis: Orthotic devices can help reduce strain on the Achilles tendon by providing support and promoting proper foot alignment.
8. Shin splints: Orthotics can help cushion the impact on the lower leg and reduce stress on the shin muscles, which may help alleviate shin splint pain.

Try our facial massage!
Our face and scalp massage is a rejuvenating experience that offers a multitude of benefits beyond just relaxation. As skilled hands glide over the skin, tension and stress melt away, leaving you with a sense of calm and well-being.
Starting with the face, gentle pressure and circular motions work to improve circulation, promoting a healthy glow and reducing puffiness. In addition to increasing blood flow, facial massage can help with lymphatic drainage, reducing toxins and promoting clearer skin. This session is often combined with Gua sha and facial cupping to enhance effects.
Moving on to the scalp, the soothing sensation of fingers running through your hair can release tightness and stimulate hair follicles. This can lead to improved hair growth and a healthier scalp overall.
Not only does a face and scalp massage provide physical benefits, but it also has a profound impact on mental well-being. The combination of touch and relaxation triggers the release of endorphins, also known as the body's natural feel-good chemicals, leaving you feeling uplifted and at peace. In essence, a face and scalp massage is not just a pampering treat - it is a holistic therapy that nourishes both body and soul.
