Thai massage is a traditional therapeutic practice that combines assisted yoga-like stretching, rhythmic compressions, and gentle rocking to relieve tension, improve flexibility, circulation, and energy flow. Often performed on a mat with the recipient fully clothed, it uses hands, thumbs, elbows, knees, and feet along energy lines rather than gliding with oil.
These courses are open to anyone who’s interested in learning the art of Thai Massage, whether your already a health care practitioner (RMT, physio, chiro, osteo, etc.) or someone without any manual therapy experience. Upon completion, RMTs can perform a Thai Massage within their scope of practice and other healthcare practitioners can apply techniques to their practice. If your new to the field, you can register for a Holistic Practitioner license upon completing the program.
